Singapore, July 30, 2024 – Asia Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) is delighted to announce that our dedicated team members, Hnin Thandar Aung, Resident Engineer and Naresh Kumar Lingeswaran, Senior Resident Engineer, have been awarded a Certificate of Commendation in recognition of the excellent service rendered to the Housing & Development Board of Singapore for the Tampines N9 C15-16 (Tampines GreenOpal) and Tengah PL C01 (Plantation Village) projects. The Certificate of Commendation was awarded to Hnin and Naresh at a ceremony at the Housing Development Board in Singapore. This recognition is a testament to their unwavering commitment and excellence.
This recognition is well-deserved for Hnin and Naresh. Their dedication and hard work have been instrumental in successfully completing the Tampines GreenOpal and Tengah Plantation Village projects. During the challenging COVID-19 pandemic period, which led to significant disruptions in the supply chain, AIS team developed contingency plans, reviewed alternate suppliers, maintained buffer stocks, and prioritised critical materials. They also integrated environmentally friendly practices throughout the planning, design, construction, and operation phases of the projects. The AIS team’s exceptional collaboration was a key factor in overcoming various challenges faced by the project teams.
The Tengah Plantation Village project is a forward-thinking development poised next to an upcoming Jurong Region Line MRT station. Bounded by Tengah Drive and Plantation Crescent, this project features 15 residential blocks varying from 6 to 15 storeys. With a Neighbourhood Centre embedded within, Plantation Village offers an array of dining and shopping facilities, a childcare centre, an education centre, and a Residents’ Committee Centre, making it a self-sufficient enclave.
Tampines GreenOpal comprises eight residential blocks, ranging from 12 to 17 storeys in height. The development features several eco-friendly features such as separate chutes for recycled waste, regenerative lifts to reduce energy consumption and usage of sustainable and recycled products in the development. Facilities within the project include viewing decks, roof terraces, playgrounds, fitness corners, a hard court and a childcare centre.
At AIS, we are proud to have completed numerous public housing projects for the Housing and Development Board. We look forward to working with the Housing and Development Board to enhance the community’s living standards.
