Cost & Commercial Management, Full Pre and Post Contract Quantity Surveying (QS) Services (Including M&E QS Services)
South Beach Integrated Development is a prestigious and iconic mixed development that integrates four historical buildings with two new towers of 34 and 45-storeys, and four podium blocks with three basement levels. The development comprises 510,000 sq ft of Grade A office space, 190 luxury residences, 32,000 sq ft of F&B and retail and a 700-room designer hotel with club facilities.
The esteemed mixed-used complex also has a large state-of-the-art environment canopy resembling huge waves that spans the open spaces, linking the restored conservation buildings with the two high-rise towers and providing shelter from the elements and drawing air currents to cool the area beneath it.
Asia Infrastructure Solutions provided Cost & Commercial Management, Full Pre- and Post Contract Quantity Surveying (QS) Services (including M&E QS Services). We also worked on the conservation, and addition and alteration works to the existing blocks 1, 9, 14 and the NCO Club.
Our team of experienced professionals were able to work with the unique design aspects of the development and manage the costs for our client. We were also able to manage the conservation and renewal of the heritage buildings even with the stringent controls over the construction phase.
The old army blocks were given conservation status in 2002 due to their historical and architectural significance. Using our cost knowledge of heritage sites, Asia Infrastructure Solutions was able to support the conversion of these heritage buildings into a grand ballroom as part of the development.
Our extensive knowledge in cost management was vital in providing key cost advice to our client without the need to alter the existing design. Our exemplary teamwork was also another factor that enabled us to deliver this project to the highest standards.
