The project was to develop a facility with about 10,000m² of total floor area housing data halls (low, medium and high-density computer racks) and associated cooling and uninterrupted power supply equipment.  The urban nature and small size of the site as well as dense underground utility infrastructure severely complicated the layout planning for the facility and required multiple utility diversions / upgrades. BIM modelling are used to avoid clashes between structural members and MEP services.
