TRUNK ROAD T2 & THE CHA KWO LING TUNNEL

The Trunk Road T2 forms the middle section of Route 6, which enhances connectivity by linking Central Kowloon Route with Tseung Kwan O Lam Tin Tunnel, showcasing our leadership in investigation, design, construction supervision, and contract management in collaboration with the Civil Engineering and Development Department.

Project Highlights:

• A dual two-lane trunk road about 3.4 km long, with 3.1 km as tunnels.
• Construction of two ventilation buildings.
• Extensive related works including civil, structural, landscaping, electrical, and mechanical engineering.
• Implementation of a traffic control and surveillance system.
• Ancillary works that encompass environmental mitigation measures and an Environmental Monitoring and Audit (EM&A) program.
