Project Description

The upcoming bridge connecting Bay South Garden and Bay East Garden will enhance connectivity within the Marina Bay area for both pedestrians and cyclists. Spanning approximately 550m in length and featuring a unique 175m section that appears to float just above Marina Reservoir, the bridge is designed to offer a distinctive “walking on water” experience while improving accessibility for all users, including those using mobility aids. Beyond improving pedestrian connectivity, this project supports the long-term transformation of the Gardens by the Bay precinct – including the planned “Wetlands by the Bay”, a major new nature-focused space expected from end-2028.
