Project Description

The new Emergency Medicine Building on the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) Campus is equipped with facilities and services to better manage patients with emergency conditions. The new building has easy access to the expertise of many disciplines, allowing the hospital to initiate expedient and coordinated care for its patients.

The new Emergency Medicine Building is connected to the main SGH buildings and has close access to the diagnostic and interventional facilities such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), operating theatres, burns centre, interventional radiology and cardiac cathetherisation suites, acute medical wards and support operations, for fast and effective care.

Our Role

Asia Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) played an integral role from the project’s inception to completion. We developed from high-level budgeting to detailed costing for the development, and we were involved in the design collaboration requirements with the stakeholders, including the planning of contract and procurement strategies, as well as value engineering throughout and across the project phases.
