Project Description
Rainforest Wild Adventure is a unique wildlife destination within Mandai Wildlife Reserve, offering visitors immersive experiences inspired by Asia’s diverse rainforest ecosystems. It comprises two sections named Rainforest Wild Adventure WEST and Rainforest Wild Adventure EAST. At 20ha, or about the size of 28 football fields, Rainforest Wild Adventure is one of the bigger parks at Mandai. Designed to offer an immersive sensory journey, the wildlife park is inspired by Asia and Africa and features nine Adventure+ activities throughout.
The Rainforest Wild Adventure WEST occupies 13 hectares of land. Visitors can navigate the park via a universally designed elevated boardwalk or explore using designated trails.
The Rainforest Wild Adventure EAST is inspired by the habitats and landscapes of Africa on a 7 hectares zone. The star of this park is the elusive okapi – also known as the forest giraffe – an endangered species native to the Congo in Central Africa that is making its Southeast Asia debut.
The attraction is also designed to foster a deeper appreciation of nature, wildlife and conservation, the attraction combines recreation, education and biodiversity awareness through carefully curated habitats, elevated walkways and interactive experiences. The development supports Singapore’s vision of creating meaningful connections between people and nature while promoting environmental stewardship and sustainable tourism.
