About the Project

The KL Monorail project features a single dual-way line covering a total length of 8.6 kilometers and incorporating 11 stations. The primary purpose of the monorail is to provide efficient transportation services. Notably, Asia Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) played a crucial role in designing four stations: Tun Sambathan Station, Maharajalela Station, KL Sentral Station, and Titiwangsa Station.

Distinctively, all four stations are engineered as elevated structures, positioning platforms on the top floor. Elevated above roadways, these stations offer a unique vantage point. Among them, KL Sentral Station stands out as the central transit hub, designed to facilitate comprehensive development. It serves as the hosting ground for the main railway station of Kuala Lumpur and interconnects seamlessly with other vital transit lines, including LRT and MRT, making it a key focal point for transportation in the city.

Our Role

AIS provided engineering design consultation and management services for the geotechnical, civil and structure. We prepared for the authority submission reports and drawings while coordinating with other trade consultants and providing site supervision during construction.
