Hong Kong, Mar 30, 2026 – Asia Infrastructure Solutions (AIS) is proud to announce that the company has been awarded the MiC/MiMEP Achievement Award – Outstanding MiC Project (Design) by the Construction Industry Council, in recognition of innovative methodologies that enhance functionality, sustainability, safety, creativity, and efficiency in construction.
The award-winning project – Tung Chung Traction Substation Residential Development, represents a major milestone for Hong Kong. As the city’s first ultra-high-rise Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) private residential development, reaching approximately 180 metres in height, it pioneers the vertical application of MiC technology and establishes new benchmarks for high-rise modular construction.
AIS served as the MiC Consultant, responsible for preparing the MiC scheme and managing superstructure statutory submissions, supporting the successful delivery of this landmark development and demonstrating how MiC can redefine high-density urban living.
