Dickson is a professional engineer and has over 40 years of experience in the project management, feasibility study, planning and design of large-scale development and infrastructure projects. Before he retired from AECOM in 2020, he was the Chief Operating Officer for the Asia Pacific region overseeing the operation and management of company’s business in Asia Pacific covering Greater China, Southeast Asia, India and Australia and New Zealand.

Major prestigious transportation and urban development projects Dickson has led included the award winning Penny’s Bay Infrastructure Development for Hong Kong Disneyland Phase 1, the Central and Wan Chai Bypass and Island Eastern Corridor Link, KVMRT Lines 1 & 2 in KL, Malaysia, Kolkata and Chennai Metro in India, Sutong Bridge in PRC, and the iconic Hillside Escalator Link between Central and Mid-Levels, which is the world’s longest outdoor covered escalator system comprising 23 No. of escalators and travellators.

Dickson is a member of Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). On community side, Dickson served as a Member of the Council at the Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2014 to 2020.
